Donna and I were in Walmart today ( I apologize in advance ) and I had a mental Pod list on my mind of things I have not covered yet. I needed a plastic box to consoladate things in. Donna said you need an under bed storage unit (whatever) I had the dimentions with me 8 inches high and no more than 20 inches wide will go through our rear storage. I found one that was perfect for $8.79 or something like that. I plan to put the bottle jack, lug wrench, folding saw, small tools, pliers , wrench set, disposable gloves, all that stuff will be in one container and wont be rolling around, etc. I think the best part of being a podder is the "Planning on Podding"

We have something similar, only one for the electric stuff/small tools, and one for the water hose/filter/regulator. Sure nice to have everything in one spot, just grab the container and go. (Walmart apology understood and accepted Big smile )

I think you'll like them.  I have 3 Rubbermaid tubs that I use for various things..........
one for fresh water stuff; like the hoses, regulator, etc.
one for misc. stuff; extra 1lb. propane bottles, bug candles, fire starters, etc.
 
Anyway, you get the idea.  They're very handy.  I may have to purchase one or two more.

We have several.

Since we have yet to buy or fabricate a storage tube large enough to accommodate the good drainage
system, it resides in a plastic tub in the "basement".  It is good and tight, and no noxiuos problems yet.

Another smaller tub contains all the tent stakes, guy tapes, silicon spray, and other R-Dome related items
for ease of set-up and tear down.

Under-bed storage tubs hold foul weather clothing and foot gear.

Smaller sealable containers are used for food items, of course. 

Storage in the R-Pod may be more of an art form than a science!

We, too, visited WalMart for several containers. We use the top bunk in our 176 for storage so have containers there for food, pots and pans, cleaning products, and first aid stuff. We also have two for each of us in our suv - one for pants, shorts, etc. and the other for shirts & underwear. So glad they invented plastics!

Sorry we dont use any plastic tubs, we have more cabinet space than we know what to do with.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

1 for electrical, 1 for water stuff, 1 for the coleman stove and stuff..



In the 177 they go in, and then slide to the right, the water and electrical boxes stack in the storage space perfectly.

We have a combination of containers actually, some bought at Walmart    ...some at Kmart. Inside the Pod for clothing, food etc we use the transparent ones with tops. Have found some that fit perfectly inside the cabinet above/below the sink and under the seats in the dinette area.

For under trailer storage we use a few of those plastic milk crate style bins. In those we keep our hoses/water stuff and in another, all of our electrical stuff. That still leaves room underneath for chairs and other stuff that doesn't fit well inside of containers.
