It was 60 degrees today in southern Indiana, I went to the covered/winterized pod and was setting in there watching t.v. and reading the manual on de winterizing, thinking, flush those tanks and head out. I know better. The old saying around here is "frost free by april 23" actually its about april 15 or 17, but dog gone it, I was grilling sunday after noon around 5;30 pm and about 75 to 100 Canada geese flew over a good 1500 ft above ground in 3 groups of perfect V formation, they were heading due North. I hope they are predicting an early spring. Donna and I are ready to head out !

Was 60 in NJ yesterday and 62 forcasted for today.  That's 20-degrees above average.  We've been running well above normal in the area all winter.

It was 57 here yesterday; too bad that I could not get out to enjoy it.  I sat in my office looking out the window hoping that I could escape for just a few minutes.  The average is 31 for this time of year.  Last year at this time, we were getting the blizzard with 2' of snow.

Today it's supposed to be 46--I will take it.  Smile

Good grief, 60 again today, I was in the woods cutting up a jack pine the wind blew over in the edge of the woods behind the house, jeans, sweat shirt, no hat, running the chain saw, sweating big time. Had a good work out, got most of the top cut and dragged over the hill, but Podding is on my mind when the temps get better, I know its too early, but maybe an early spring. ground hog day is tomorrow, somebody shoot that rodent so we can have an early spring.

Hit 70 in Baltimore today.  Is this February 1st, or May 1st?

We rented a home in Arizona for the month to get out of the cold but it hasnt been that cold yet. Last winter we couldnt see our mailbox it was buried under the snow. This year we have bare grass. Cant wait to go camping!

Not quite that warm here in the Pac NW - only 46 for the high. I'm jealous! Stern Smile But it has been a mild winter, so I'm thankful for that. Every night when I go out in the barn to feed the goats, I have to sit in the Pod (stored in the barn) and dream of hitting the road when I'm sure it's officially Spring. Sigh.... can't wait to go Podding again!

dsmiths -
Brown County is supposed to be open, with water available and a heated shower house (don't have to dewinterize).

It's tempting.............

Sounds good David, There is only one County between us and Brown (washington) I could be there is an easy 1 hour or so, but I bet as soon as I hook up the temps would drop into the 20's and we would get an ice story, Old man winter is trying to play head games with us podders.
