The Emerald Ash Borer ruined that for us in Wisconsin.

We can't haul wood here in Illinois either.  The Ash Borer has decimated entire neighborhoods around here.

To change this a little bit, I am wondering what a regular Pod would be like with dual axels.

My guess is that it would look like the Quad pod without the patio in front.

My opinion is that it would look like overkill on the wheels as well as funny.  As small is the pod is, one axle looks just fine and probabaly works just as well.

We just drove by the factory in Dallas, OR on Saturday and saw a line of pods with a handful of these thrown in. I'll definitely go by again to take some snapshots to post before we head home.

I didn't get back to the factory in Dallas, OR to take some pictures of the new quad pods, but we did get to the Portland Expo Center for an RV show, and lo and behold, there it was all set up, complete with a quad. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring the DW's new fancy dslr camera, so the shots are a little iffy, having come from my phone, sorry!  Embarrassed

Notice the new, black spoiler on the back and lights on spoiler and fenders.

It is a Hood River Edition, and the decals look to be the same.

"Made in Oregon", is what the sign on the inside of the door says.

Interior of this model has queen dinette in front...

...and bunks in the back. Notice the top bunk "rolls up", allowing for extra seating. We have the 172, which has bunks, but they don't fold or roll up, so the bottom is not very comfortable to sit on. This is a Mod that I have wanted to do for a while.

That front is perfect for toys, bikes, extra storage, etc.

The new ultra lightweight toy hauler.

Double axles with shiny chrome rims.

It's hard to see the jet black AC on top in most of the pictures. Antenna is also black.

Sorry, I didn't get the model number or dry weight of the pod. If I recall correctly, the DW was around 4400lbs.
