We finally picked our 2012 172 in Oregon this week.  It was quite a whirlwind trip but all in all uneventful.  Stayed in motels for the first couple of nights as the dealership didn't open til Tuesday.  We were on their doorstep first thing, trust me!!  It was a little nerve racking until we actually saw the unit.  You see, we bought it in October of last year via the internet.  So, we've owned it for 6 months but had never set eyes on it!!  It was all cleaned up and ready to go.  We had them add an additional propane tank and put anti-sway on (thank goodness for that!).  Then we spent the next 3 nights at Tumalo State Park to get to know our little unit.  Great fun!  I must say though, I'm glad we got one of the last of the white units.  With the newer models being that creamy colour, they wouldn't match the truck!!  We didn't get to put our flag out due to the weather but hopefully on the next trip out.  Looking forward to getting out and about this year.  Hope to see you out there!

Looks Sweet.  You will be glad you have 2 propane tanks.  Won't be a rush when one runs outThumbs UpWhen we got ours in March 2011 we had to fight the snow to get her home and by that time (4 hours later) we had it broke in, complete with road salt, black and dirty, ugh!

Have fun with your 172 and be ready to give lots of tours!  We have yet to stay at a campground where we haven't given a tour.  Only wish FR would give us kickbacks for all the PR we do as owners to 'took their horn' with this amazing camping unit.

Welcome.  We are awaiting having a new 2013 171 built for us.  We are in the Portland area and breathlessly awaiting ours.  Am taking delivery with 2 propane tanks and an auto cutover.  Also a larger group 27 battery.  Anyway enjoy and safe travels.

Glad to hear to finally have it.  Six months would have been torture for us, we waited a few weeks to get back to our dealer for pickup and that was hard.

Grats. Now you need some decals on the truck to match the RPod.
Ready to pod around!
