I just bought a 177 with axle risers installed by Forest River.  The height added was 3 3/4".  I highly recommend them.

That measurement sounds rigbt. If your dealer is offering them for that price that's a bargain. Right from FR they want over $75.

as far as I know, FR only offers 3 inch risers, I have heard people refer to 4 inch, but I am not aware of any from FR. Lippert or Dexter axles have about 1/2 inch spacing difference on the through bolts, but I believe there is only 3 inch avalable.

SmileI found axle risers at the dealer here in Maine where I bought my 177. They are 3" risers at a cost of $48. I think I've heard owners here talk about 4" risers. Does that 1" make a big difference? And, can anyone direct me to a source of the 4" ones if that's really what I should purchase.

Thanks, Doug
