HI,
I have the 172 and am wondering if an anti sway bar will make much difference when driving with such a low gvw......any thoughts are appreciated.

P.S. I have driven it quite a bit so far...thru mountains, on long curvy roads, in town, etc. but, so far haven't been up against any very windy conditions.

I use the sway bar with my Jeep Cherokee. Last year towing into the prairie winds I was glad I had it. No sway at all

I installed a CURT anti-sway bar this spring, it does keep the trailer going in a straighter line behind the TV, bumpy roads it feels more solid as well.  I am glad I spent the $120.00.

I bought the CURT item # 17200 from my local auto parts store.

I also bought a new Ball mount assembly rather than trying to get a tab welded on my existing ball mount.  Took me about an hour to install.
