Has anyone modified the dinette to more comfortable seating?  Has anyone added lounge chairs?  I once saw a picture of an RP with 2 black chairs but can't find it again.  Thanks.

My 173 has a fold down couch across the back end. I think I saw in a brochure that you could get it with two arm chairs instead but I have never seen one and they don't seem to make the 173 anymore.

Thanks Seanl.  I guess I'll have to live with the dinette for now.

Interesting that you should ask.....it's on my "to do" list.

I'm doing something a little different.  Here is my floor plan:

I don't need seating for 4 and would like some extra floor space for Dixie.  My plan is to buy one or two of these:

(which I happen to be sitting in now), remove the exisiting seating and table and, install the chair(s) - casters removed and fastened to the floor.  I also intend to make a smaller table top - for an overall smaller dinette area.

At trade-in time, I can re-install the original benches and table.

Maybe this will spark an idea or two for you????
