   OK    ...so you come home from a week long trip in the Pod. While camping you use one of those little packets that disolve in the tank and "in theory" control odor. Before leaving the campground you fully dump and rinse the black water tank. 

The next morning you go out to begin the process of emptying out and cleaning up the Pod and you notice an odor coming from the commode. 

I've got some ideas of my own    ...but I'm curious what others do to "deoderize" the toilet and associated plumbing between trips.

	After a black water dump, I flush a recommended dose of non-formaldehyde RV treatment down the toilet. I then do one of more clean flushes to add additional water to the waste tank. While traveling home, the small amount of treated water can slosh around the tank, helping to wash away any waste stuck to the tank walls. Because the treatment has already been added, I don't have to remember to add the treatment for the next trip, and no noticeable odor builds up in the treated tank.

	Do about the same. Dump, rinse, dump, rinse, dump. Add a gallon or two of fresh water, toss in packet.. roll on.

	Odor is under control. I took a bucket filled it with water and dropped in one of those tiny blue packets. Poured it little by little down the toilet and then refilled bucket until water was clear. Also poured some down the shower drain. Just gonna let it sit/slosh around in there for a while but in the meantime the odor is gone. Thanks for the suggestions ... 'Slogger

	The guy at the dealership who gave us our tour of the Pod said if odor is a problem put a container of the "mouthwash" in a 5 gallon pail filled with water then pour it down the toilet. Take a ride around the campgoround and the problem will be gone. I haven't had a problem with it yet. One of my co-workers had odor problems in her fifth wheel, so they put a gallon of bleach down the toilet and took it for a ride. She said the odor was gone with that as well. My guess it was replaced with bleach odor.

	Again, more mumbo-jumbo. Use the proper product, the proper way and be done with it. No magic, no gimicks, etc. Using the proper product, the proper way is all you need to do to be odor free. - empty tank. - rinse tank. - add a bottle of Thedford Campa-Chem down the toilet. - let the toilet run for 15-30 seconds to add some water to the black tank. - every 3rd emptying of the fresh water tank, add a bottle (only one bottle total), via the sink/tub drains/traps. No games, no gimics, no magic................... it just works, every time.

	Try happy camper. One small scoop and there are no odors and it's odorless.

	Be sure you refill with several gallons of water while also adding whatever odor control you prefer. Adding in only a gallon or so isn't enough.
