I will stick with cooking over the campfire. I use this:
Texsport Heavy Duty Barbecue Swivel Grill for Outdoor BBQ over Open Fire

Those are great.. right up until they have a no open fire rule in force.. happens here every year.

Signature removed, so as not to trigger any non Ford owners, non Irish Setter owners, current R-Pod owners, unhandy or mod negative Pod owners, or single campers of any gender.

Yep. For years I had a plow disk, I welded center hole in and mounted legs on. I cooked everything on that country Wok. I still miss that cooker.

A discada is our primary cooking device for camping now.  After going through several different grills I find that the disc is the most versatile and packs well.

We currently camp with an 18" disc, but have a 20" and 22" for use at home.  I also have a portable 18" TemboTusk Skottle, but it's basically been retired now.
