Hi All,
We just bought a 2013 177 but haven't picked it up yet.  We had to order a class 3 hitch so had to wait.  The dealership is Lazydays in Tampa and we were scheduled to pick it up tomorrow, Monday, but now we had to postpone due to the storm.  Bummer !  Since our tow vehicle is a 96 Mazda MPV, the dealer recommended that we purchase  a Blue Ox Sway Pro Weight Distribution Hitch and so we did.  I wanted to have the easiest towing experience since I will be doing most of the driving and it's kinda scary.  The dealership will install everything plus they want you to camp overnight there so they can make sure you know how to work everything.  Can't wait !!!!

Good luck with the pod. We just recently got ours and were going to head East this week, but now I'm rethinking that we may head North. I like Cedar Key been there a few times.

Welcome.  Sounds like a good dealer, feel free to leave a review of them in our dealer review forum.

Edie, it was Christmas time two years ago, we hit Manatee Springs also that trip. Florida is coming up on the rotation again. But as we don't usually set a destination, just because we head towards something doesn't mean we'll get there. We started for Florida in Feb. and spent two weeks on the back roads of Georgia.

Bill, it's funny you mentioned it because Manatee Springs is only 1/2 hour from our house and we were planning to do our first outing over there...let me know if you are around our area and we can meet up.

They are a very good dealership.  We bought our Dutch Star motorhome from them.  I wish I still had it!  Not that I don't like my Pod though!!  It might be interesting to post how many free breakfast meals they provide everyday.  I know when we got the motorhome it was in the 100's on the weekends.  We can stop in for a free breakfast as long as we live.  I wonder if they still do that?

Hi Terry,
Yes, they still give the free meals to their customers and it's breakfast and lunch.  We are going there tomorrow morning to pick up our Pod and will spend 2 days there and eat for free the whole time.  They have a special campground area for the RV deliveries and we can use all the regular campground amenities (showers, pool, spa, game room, etc).  It should be fun.
By the way, we are planning a trip to St. Augustine soon, do you want to meet for a cup of coffee?

That would be great!  Just depends on when I guess.  On the 17th. of August I'm flying to CA to meet my 1/2 brother for the first time.  We just found each other.  He is 82 years old!
