Fridge works on gas, but stove won't light . Any ideas? It has worked fine until this trip.

The last time this happened to someone here, I think the problem was a gas tank that hadn't been purged correctly so it had too much air in it.  They switched to another tank (one that didn't have air in it) and everything worked fine.  Most refill places know how to purge tanks if you need to get that done but it costs extra because they have to vent some gas into the air.

Do you hear gas escaping from the stove when you turn the dials on?

Problem solved. Issue was a tripped tank safety valve. Turned off for couple hours. Turned back on and problem solved.

Ah.  The key for that is to turn the valve to "open" v-e-r-y slowly. I usually force myself to count to 60 as I turn it from fully closed to fully open.
