Should one expect any difference in the performance of the refrigerator in colder temperatures?  For example, if it's 30-degrees outside, should one expect the temperature in the frig/freezer to be the same as it is when the outside temps are 70, 80, 90 degrees?

Same question as it relates to an empty vs. filled refrigerator/freezer.

Never thought about it... when it's cool out, we use an ice chest, ours is bigger than the fridges in either trailer anyways..lol.

But it's an ammonia evaporation cycle that runs an RV fridge.. have to go learn what kind of temps that needs...

I used mine during the January pod get-together and didn't have a problem.  I worried it might freeze up but it didn't.  I always take one of those indoor/outdoor wireless thermometers to monitor the fridge temp but I don't remember any numbers.  Usually during spring/summer/fall trips it will stay around 39-40 F.

It's my understanding that according to the food industry, 40-140 degrees is the danger zone where food is not safe to eat.  Just a bit of trivia.  Safe Travels.

Thanks.  I was just wondering.  I was going to use the Pod frig to start the defrost process for the Thanksgiving turkey, but it won't fit in the frig Smile.  I guess I'll fire up the Jayco fridge and put the 20+ pounder in there to start defrosting.
