Most of the time we camp with our 2 legged daughter and our 2 four legged sons. Occasionally we camp without them but most of the time they're sharing in our adventures.

We adopted the sweetest cat, Nevelle, while in NM a few months ago. He is a terrific travel and camping companion. Also he is leash trained. He's a love!!

Just got our 183g (first Pod ever) Sunday, so we have not taken the maiden voyage yet, but plan to share our space with 100 pound Yellow Lab who thinks he is a child. It will be interesting!! He went with us to pick it out - spoiled pup indeed.

We picked up our used 2015 RP179 in Sept. 2018 on the S. OR coast. took 4 days returning to NE OR with our two dogters, a 5 yr. old puggle and a 6 yr. old Inca/Chihuahua. They adapted faster than we did, coming from a 30' TT, but all of us really like the pod.

At home, we have always had cats, OUTDOOR only, great for keeping the mouse, rabbit, squirrel population down.  Never indoors, don't want to mess with the fur/hair, nor would the allergies welcome it either.  Camping, we leave the cats home, they can take care of themselves, something dogs can't do.

We travel with our three cats. They're not happy with the traveling, but they settle down nicely once we're camped. They stay in our 179 at all times; we installed a gate across the entrance to discourage them from trying to get out and they're indoor cats anyway. One likes to hang out behind our futon and the other two often lie on the shelf we installed over the bed.
