It was nice meeting you as well.  Our trip on up to Mistletoe GA was great…what a beautiful campground. Our last stop was Fort McAllister. We were very disappointed in this park, didn't even unhook and decided to head on home.  Maybe  will will run into you again sometime…I know will will return to Hunting Island!

Dana & Regina here, from Middleburg, FL near Jacksonville (we like to call it Middle Earth).  We're on our maiden voyage with our new 2014 181-G, currently camping at Lake Louisa State Park in Cleremont, FL.  We down sized from a 27' Forest River Salem, and haven't regretted it yet.  Being a big guy (6'2") I probably won't be taking too many showers in the "bathroom", but that's not an issue with me.  So far I love the garage in back since I do all of the dishes.  Great to make morning coffee back there too since Regina likes to sleep much later than I do.  I'm using the same Blue Ox weight distribution hitch that we bought for the 27' Salem which is probably overkill, but it tows like a dream.  It had 1,000 spring bars, but I replaced those with 550lb bars.  Heading down to Marco Island for a few days to see our daughter and her familly who are vacationing there.

I think the idea of a Florida get together is a GREAT idea. Perhaps somewhere central to us all. Since our campgrounds are so busy during the winter months, my only suggestions would be; out of season and somewhere with pull thro ' sites ;^)....still not proficient at backing my baby up ! Anyone up for organizing such a venture ?. Thanks, happy , safe travels R Podders

Bob and Kari Paton, Titusville, FL.  We originally owned a 2010 173 and later moved up to a 2014 178. We are both retired and travel with our two small dogs.

This thread was originally started to create a list of pod owners in Florida.  Since its inception in 2013, I have not been able to locate the list.  Am I missing something?

We are not really Florida owners.  However, we spend several months of the year in Florida, at Ft Pierce.  We have a boat there.  This year, we will be in our pod.  We'd love to meet any other podders in the area.
