I have not seen anybody else towing with a Murano. I was wondering how the Murano will do towing the r pod.. The owners manual states
I can tow 3500 Lbs.

Vehicles with a 3500 pound limit will work - but many here have moved up to larger TVs afterwards.  In our case we pulled a much heavier popup with our minivan without any problems, but once we moved to the pod the wind resistance on highway hauls became a much bigger factor - as everyone else here will agree.  After a summer of hauling our pod along the entire East Coast from Maine to Florida on major highways I knew I needed something more powerful.  If you will mostly do back roads and few hills you'll be fine.

Picked up our r pod in Shoemakersville Pa. on Monday Pulled it 270 miles over the mountains to Pittsburgh. Our Murano pulled it with no problem . But as so many people have stated I got exactly 10 MPG. We have it home and after some mods we will be looking forward to using it all summer.

Welcome to the world of R-podding.

We live 20 miles north of Pittsburgh. We believe we are the only R-Pod owners from Pittsburgh area, now there are two of us!! Yah!

We have a 2011 181G and truly do love it. Especially the Garage part.
We bought it new from an R-pod dealer in Transfer, PA (near Hermitage)

We bought a new tow vehicle last November a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee and we are looking forward to towing our Pod somewhere soon.

Maybe we can get together sometime and compare our Pods and mods!

Old Dingo. We live in Upper St Clair. Before I retired I worked in Freedom. (Cranberry). Where do you live. Is there any nice campgrounds up that way . We want to take a few short trips in May / June just to get the feel of camping in our R Pod.
