My husband and I bought a 2011 176 bunkhouse a few weeks ago. Got lucky--only used TWICE and it shows! The husband, our 8-year-old AND the two big dogs have been out, but I have not yet. Weekend travel kept me from the adventures.

We are sooooo excited about our new camper. We looked extensively on Craigalist and RV Trader for something small to tow behind my Toyota Highlander. We knew it was the R Pod as soon as we saw it.

Right now we are getting her kitted out with supplies, and my DIY Guy is working on some sweet mods to make our camping sweeter. We have a couple of beach sites reserved in the next couple of months, and lots of California camping dreams to come!

(Tried to post a pic but as small as it is is seems to be too big to post.)

Welcome!  You can use your pod year round in SoCal.  I was looking at mine in the snow earlier today hoping to get it back in service in a month or so.

I can't help with the pictures, but others can.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Ok, I think I got the photo thing figured out... Just updated my avatar so that it is our R Pod. Smile

My husband and daughter took it camping last weekend at a local campground, and said they had lots of interest. I'm looking forward to showing her off!

It's going to be nice to go desert camping with air conditioning... ah! Lovely. Looking forward to the adventures, and especially to having them without having to wrestle with a tent anymore!
