Calendar Event: Optional tire/wheel size Posted: 04 Mar 2013 at 7:29pm |
I just purchased a used 2010 RPod 173. I have added the lift and front stabilizers because I tend to camp in forest service campgrounds most of the time. I appreciate the added clearance of the lift, however I was wondering if anyone has changed from the stock 13 inch wheels to 14 or even 15 inch wheels? I know that fender clearance could be an issue. Any suggestions?

Welcome. With the risers on I don't think larger tires will be an issue at all, because it adds so much room between the wheels and fenders.

I will have to take a look when it thaws out, but I recall my 2011 177 coming from the factory with 15 inch wheels.

We have 205 75 14's from the factory. I would think with the risers you have room to go up a bit.
You might need a different fender with shallower arch to make it look right. |
