I wanted to introduce myself as I'm sure I'll be scouting this forum frequently. My husband and I recently purchased a 177. We are at the tail end of the boomer generation. Between us, we have 5 very grown children and 9 grandchildren, several of whom we have turned on to camping. Have not been able to christen our pod yet due to late winter cold and snowy weather. Cry We are not new to camping or owning an RV, but the pod is unlike anything we've ever had before. It has all the big camper amenities in a small TT. So far, we love it. I have spent the last several weeks adding small personal touches, some with the help of fellow podders on this site, Thank you very much! I would post pictures, but my camera obviously takes pictures that are too big and so far, I have been unable to figure out how to make them smaller. Just wanted to introduce myself and say how much I enjoy this forum. Thanks for all the great ideas!

Welcome!! 177 is a great floorplan. I bet you enjoy it tons.

As far as pictures, you need to either resize them, (I do it online at shrinkpictures.com) or you can host them at a free site like photobucket, and just link an expandable thumbnail..

Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.

Wecome to the Wonderful World of R-PODDING. We have a little get together over Labor Day Weekend just north of Kansas City at Weston Bend State Park if you are interested. Looks like maybe 3 PODs so far. As far as the pictures go, I have HP Photosmart in the computer and use it to resize my pictures, I use around 500x375 pixels I think.  Good luck.  Goose

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to learning all the new tips and tricks of the pod. My husband calls it our Rescue-pod! Paige, can't wait to see your mods. We plan on spending a fair amount of time in our pod, perhaps snowbirding!

Welcome!  I totally agree with your assessment of the pod - has all big camper amenities in a small size trailer.  Smile

I guess I have to tell you the same thing I was told by an "expert" when I called our Pod a trailer the first time out.  He gave me a dirty look and said "that is not a trailer.  It is a towable RV."  He also said that the drain hose needed to be under the rear bumper.  When I showed him I didn't have one he gave up.
