Maybe glue it in place with a few dabs of silicone?

Excellent suggestion, I do believe that is the route I will take.

Update on my slide out seal fix.  I noticed that the side rubber seals were beginning to come off as well as the bottom one.  The seals slide over these plastic brackets, and without taking them all the way off, it is was impossible to get them back on properly(or at least for me it was).  So I took them(bottom and two side ones) completely off.  There is a screw on each end, so don't just yank them off.  Sprayed a little silicone on the inside of each and slid them all back on and in place, and put the screws back in with a tiny little washer behind each head.  Siliconed the outer edges as well.  I also wiped all my seals down well with 'son of a gun' hopefully to keep them from getting sticky.  I think the seals just kind of stick to the slide when closed, and when you open, it pulls them off.  I guess I will find out how long this fix works.

I think there is a sticker on the pod by the door about servicing the seals every 90 days..

I've read that rubbing talcum powder on the seals will help maintain them and prevent them from getting stuck.
