Hi all.  We are John & Stephanie and the proud owners of a shiny new 2014 RP178!
It has all the bells and whistles, yet I can't help myself from thinking about modest modifications to help make life just a bit better.

Welcome tp the world of Pods!  You will think of many ways to make it yours as you camp in it.  I recommend you camp a few times before taking on major mods.

Have fun!

Welcome! Personalization of your Pod begins the moment you bring it home and never stops... But, oh what fun it is! Congratulations on your purchase.

Congrats & Welcome!  You will find lots of ways to individualize your Pod to your liking, and there are lots of great ideas that can be found by looking around here in the forum.

Hi,
We're Rick & Judy and we picked up our 2014 178 last week, 06.14.13.Big smile
The 178 seems to be all we were looking in a compact, light weight, well
built travel trailer. Gonna take our first journey next week to meet family
in western NY.
Our TV is a 2008 Honda Ridgeline with an E2 weight distributing hitch with
integral sway control. Seemed to work well when we picked it up. Overkill?
Maybe, but that was recommended by the dealer.
We're looking forward to meeting other Podders so we can compare notes
and gain some knowledge form some of you veterans.

Happy motoring!
                           R &  J.         Smile
Life is good!

Welcome Rick and Judy.  You are going to love that 178.  And when it comes to the safety stuff you can never have to much.

Welcome.  Lots of us have E2 WDH's, no overkill at all.  I don't need weight distribution with my current TV but it improves the ride quality and still provides sway control so I still use it.
