I agree with Kickstart in that geography has something to say about the type of TV you have.  Having spent 37 years of my life growing up in the NW there is no way I would contemplate towing a Pod with my current TV due to the terrain, but down here in North & South Carolina it is enough to do the job.

There are a lot of areas here near the left coast that would pretty much require a 5000+ tow rig for the driver and anyone following him on the road to be comfortable. Here in Western Washington, for instance, we have a myriad of foothills, and 4 east/west passes. The problem being that only one pass is 4 lanes, and most of the foothills are two lanes with few passing areas. A marginal tow rig for this area might be just fine for somewhere else. It's all relative to where you're gonna tow, your expectations, how much stress you want to put on your tow rig, and how much you want to tick off those behind you.  
P/S Met a guy from Florida last year out here on the Olympic coast. He had towed about a 22' something or other, was loaded up pretty well, and was happy with the job his Ridgeline had done 
His trailer had to have been heavier than any Pod.

When we met with the local dealer in GA to discuss pricing, we had already gotten a quote from Couch's.  The dealer ended up being within $300.00, adjusted for what it was going to cost us to have it delivered.  I went with the local person because of future service issues, but it saved us over $2000.  In today's electronic world, we could simply show him the email with the price and unit options and it was a great tool.  Information is power!

Had he not gotten close I would have certainly done business out of state.
