Donna and I are heading out for a 2 nighter tomorrow. I had minor surgery on my right foot and have been clumping around for 4 weeks. I can now wear a tennis shoe and walk around almost normal. Weather in Southern Indiana is supposed to be a high of 79 Friday 9/13 and 81 Saturday with lows in the 60's during the night. Perfect Poddin wx. I am looking forward to a crackling fire and cooking on the coals.

We are heading out this weekend, too. Can't wait for that cooler weather. It's beautiful outside right now. Campfire weather, here I come. We're meeting friends that live in Florida, but have been in the Midwest for the summer in their fifth wheel. They are headed back at the end of September so this will be our last trip with them, but we've managed to have 3 camping weekends with them while they've been here. The other two were HOT so we're all looking forward to this one. Have fun and be safe!

Roast a marshmallow for me.  I'd love to get out this weekend but we have a wedding to attend Saturday evening and too many chores around the house that are piling up.

We are headed out for a 5 day camp up here.  On the Rideau canal system, up here leaves starting to turn and down in single digits (c) over night.  But up to near 20c in daytime so should be real nice.  Hoping to get one more trip in after this one but....

Kymooses/Furpod, we did our local favorite at Hoosier Nat Forest. Friday and Saturday Night. Wx was perfect (for me) Donna said she was kinda cool. 50 Sat morning and 52 Sunday morning. I caught 5 decent blue gill Friday after noon and we had fried fish sandwichs Saturday for lunch. Great setting around the fire evenings. It was cool but refreshing after the hot summer. Cooked everything on the fire, corn on the cob, hamburgers, good old (not so good for you) hot dogs. GOOD SLEEPING WEATHER. Can't wait for the next trip out. We are thinking maybe Brown County Indiana if we can get a spot. gotta hurry not much time left before winterizing.
