Don't get me wrong I like the closet rod in the bathroom to hang up some jackets, but I don't like bumping my head on it every time I use the biffy, so I made it shorter. No more head banging.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

My version of camping includes no activity that needs "hang up clothes".. Wink

That is a very smart addition and bracket you made up for those who need one.. BTW, new 177's come with a swing out clothes hanger deal on the rear of the shower stall, instead of the one IN the shower.

True-  A device that we found so totally useless that it was taken out immediately.

We did something similar by using an adjustable pressure rod and putting it up side-to-side between the outside wall and the inside wall.  We put it up and use it to hang wet clothes/jackets so they can drip dry in there, and take it down when not in use.  We also have found that turning on the fan helps them to dry out a bit faster.
