We just bought our brand new 179 R pod about 3 weeks ago, and our left taillight is half full of water. It's a little disappointing considering we have not even used it yet. Has anyone else had this problem?

Did you contact your dealer?  Sounds like some sort of seal issue.  Get it fixed as soon as possible, you wouldn't want the water to cause an electrical issue.
Ouch

Yeah.... things can happen, but, just give the dealer a call.. that is what a warranty is all about.

I don't think I'd drill the hole till you have worked with the dealer.  The may have a fix that involves a seal.  Drilling a hole would interrupt the integrity of the light.  If it was a 93' Volvo with a lens leak I'd drill, but not with something new.

Being brand new, call the dealer and have them replace the light. Sounds like that light has a seal failure and in time will fail completely due to corrosion. Goose
