I concur with CharlieM. I ordered my bike carrier from Forest River and paid a lot more than the exact same carrier sold by WalMart. Oh well, at least I have on record that I bought the FR approved carrier in case I have a warranty issue.

As I recall the carrier engages the two wheels. You should not need the adapter bar.

Hi all ...... we have ordered the optional bike carrier that fits into the rear receiver where the spare normally goes. I haven't actually seen the carrier and was wondering if anyone knows if it can be used to carry a ladies "step thru" style of bike, or does it take only those with a cross bar. Thanks!
