Wow! That's some really nice cookware. I want to camp next to you! The aromas must be awesome.
Do you always use the inside cooktop or do you use an outdoor portable burner/hotplate? I suppose we won't find a can of Dinty Moore Beef stew in your pod! fred

The best thing about pressure cookers is that you can make certain things last minute. My favourites are bean soups, risottos, braised oxtail and other tough but flavourful cuts when it's cold and wet out.
As we don't want to be eating leftovers for the entire trip, the most versatile size we have is the 3.5qt. It can handle a roast if needed but still make the perfect risotto for 2 with leftovers for a second meal. However, my personal favourite for the pod is the 2.5qt deep skillet/saute pan. We bought the accessory lid for it so can use it as a regular saute pan or a skillet as well as a small pressure cooker. We can still make soups, risotto and stews for 2 with leftovers. |
