Thanks mtbmitch. Going to be in Ketchum for a week (in a condo), so we will be riding around town and on Baldy.  Plan on spending 2 nights in the Stanley basin before heading to Yellowstone.  I will look for these trails you have suggested

Mountain Biking Sun Valley, Idaho by FalconGuide is a good resource. Has elevation profile and a description
of the ride.
I would suggest driving up over Galena Pass and riding Elk mountain trail as well as Potato Mtn. these are also in the book. Skip the fisher williams loop.
enjoy the fresh air

I've been amazed at the amount of snow in the Rockies at this late date this year. We just came back from Yellowstone and there was still a good amount of snow there as well. It looks like the Sawtooths had their fair share as well and it's sticking around too.

We were up in Stanley last year and did the Elk Meadows loop on our bikes. Fun ride!

Smiley Creek
Great Mt biking right out the front door of the pod. Motorized travel recommended also.
