Has any one had an experience of Stink Bug infestation? We were at a rally last Fall at Davey Crockett State Park in TN. Came home and cleaned and cleaned removing bugs and disposing of them. Next camp-out bugs were still appearing. Winterized and this Spring, another 15 dead ones inside our camper. The problem is there is a peculiar smell, not bad, just I have issues with smells that I don't know the cause. Could this be as a result of the stink bug? I've used a similar product to FeBreeze and I thought I had it solved. While camper was at the dealer for warranty work, the smell reappeared. Camper came home yesterday and today's task is working in camper and neutralizing that smell. Any suggestions? Tech at dealership said they use the blue can of Lysol. Keeping the windows open, I don't smell any thing.

My cat ate a stink bug once. Only once.

We get 'em quite a bit around here and have found Ortho Home Defense Max to be pretty effective at keeping them away. Haven't seen them in the pod, but if we did that's what we would use to try to head them off.

They do give off a peculiar odor alive or dead. Best way we have found to remove the odor is to thoroughly vacuum all spaces, cracks and crevices. Then dispose of the vacuum bag.

We haven't had a stink bug infestation but had a ladybug infestation.  I found that spraying everything down with white vinegar helps disrupt/cut the pheromones that the bugs leave behind.  We usually use a mixture of water and white vinegar to wipe everything down before and after a trip so that helps immensely.

We also open up all the hidden areas and vacuum everything.  We also spray the steps and under the edges of the pod and around the wheels and the axle to prevent bugs from climbing up.

The smell is slowly but surely disappearing. We have washed every thing today with antibacterial and my husband washed all compartments again with mold control. Just trying whatever we have to kill that smell. Thanks for your input.
