I have a 2011 Silverado 2500 HD extended cab long bed 4WD diesel and tow a 2015 179, however, I've only had the rPod a week and haven't taken it camping yet.  I plan to by the end of the month and I'll try and remember to post my mileage then.  When empty it gets close to 20 MPG on the highway.

The preponderance of experience seems to point to similar MPG  +/-1 regardless of what the TV is.  The major factor in towing MPG is the wind resistance of the trailer and TV frontal area. It takes a certain amount of horsepower to maintain a given speed with given wind/road conditions and the size of the engine has only a secondary effect. Bigger engines just cost more and drink more gas when not towing.
