I'd love to, but this will more than likely fall during the week of a yearly conference that I have to attend. And I've already made plans to run a 1/2 marathon on 10/24/15.

I have a question for those familiar with the Texas State Parks.  When I went to reserve a spot, there was no option to select a specific spot.  It only let me select the campground area and facilities.  So am I just guaranteed a type of spot, but not a specific spot?  Is it first come first served to get a specific site?

Yes Sir/Ma'am, that is correct...you will get your specific spot on arrival during the check-in process at Park HQ based on availability, first come, first served.

Get the heck out of "Pittsville" for a few days! LOL Y'all come on down and hang out with us in Texas for a few! Now is the time to book so you can be somewhere in that cozy little area 2 loop (Lakeview) with a bunch of other PODS! Oh Ya...POD = Party On Deck!

Can you see the face on other campers now...what the heck, what is this some kind of Grand Rolly Polly Convention!? LOL PODs RULE!

There is no bad spots there, because at the BIG TEXAS RPOD RALLY, me casa, your casa! Big smile

Looking forward to seeing you there! Here's to good luck, and safe travels. Cheers!
