We have a 178 and use a mattress cover which goes over all of the cushions and keeps them all secure.

Sulivan4, We have found that rubberized shelf and drawer liner works fairly well to keep the cushions from sliding. Not great, but better than Velcro for us.

Welcome to the group. Congrats on your 179! There are only two of us, so we haven't used the dinette area for sleeping yet.

Hello All!
My husband and I just came home today with our new rpod 179 (2015) and are so excited to start some new adventures with our 4-year-old daughter and our 2-year-old son. We decided on the 179 because we liked the amount of interior storage and the kitchen. Our biggest concern about this model is the sleeping arrangements for the kids on the pull out/dinning area. So here is our first questions: Any tips for making cushions and sleeping area in the dining area more secure? We are thinking about Velcro tape obviously but wondering if anyone who uses that sleeping area frequently has any tricks to share. Thank you- have been reading the forum for a while before our purchase and appreciate all the info! Cheers, Dana and Joe |
