Any one know or where to find out the cost for r dome for 2015 r pod 179?

Somewhere between 500 - 600 once it is shipped to you from Forest River.

One of the tech's at my dealership bought one of the mpg domes off of e-bay cheaper.........just not sure if that is still possible.

Yuh the MPG varieties were 16' if you can ever find them out there. I've seen a couple owners with them and they are nice. Forest River does the 13' ones for all R-Pods now, it's all they have available. Fits all Pods now.

I just checked online and the largest Dometic A&E Dome I see is 13 feet. They used to be available in 16'.

I think the 16 footers are all grabbed up, gonna be a hard item to get.

Pacque tent, awnings and covers has a new awning out now for r-pods that looks really neat and easy to put up. Mine will be arriving in a week. You can see it on their website, but the spelling I have above is not right. The new awning cost $499 and looks very workable in that you can leave sides open or close them up. Similar to a R-dome but a lot easier to put up.

I recently called Forest River about this, and what they told me is
that the RDome's currently out there do not work with the RP-179. They
said that they are coming out with a new Rdome which will be exclusively
for the 179. They don't have them yet, they were supposed to be there
by now, and they expect them anytime. They didn't say if they will be
distributing them to the dealerships, or if one would have to order it
from them directly.
