Hi guys,

I'm looking for used RP178 or 176. We are a family of four, with two boys ages 7 & 9. The kids like the bunks in the 176 and my wife likes the permanent queen bed in the 178. It really seems like these two models are the best choice for fitting all of us in there!

We've ruled out the 182G and the 176T with pop-out, tent-style bed.

My budget is a lot closer to $10,000 than the $14,000 that new ones are listed on the internet for. An older model is just fine and I'm willing to travel to get the trailer.

If you hear of anything, or might be looking to sell yours, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hi Jan,

Of course I saw your listing, and it sounds like a really nice R-Pod! However, I wouldn't be able to come anywhere near your asking price.

As I mentioned, we are looking for for a camper priced substantially less than the the cost of a new one, which is around $13,995 from the prices I've found on the internet.

Thanks for your response and good luck!

Pete

Hey R-Podders,

Just a quick bump on this  thread. We are still looking for a used 178 or 176. I've been scouring the internet without too much luck. My timing isn't great - summer and camping season is here!

We've got a line on a new 2015 for $14K and will likely go that route if I can't find a less expensive used one.

Thanks,

Pete

Hi Pete, I have a 2014 176 that I haven't put on here yet but it is for sale. It is in pristine condition with no dings, dents or scratches. It was waxed last fall and covered before winter and it still has a beautiful shine. It has the following options...
- Includes an R-Dome also in perfect condx.
- Television.
- Axle risers for addition ground clearance.
- 750 watt 12 volt to AC inverter.
- All interior incandescent lamps replaced with LED lighting.
- Custom R-Pod cover for winter storage.
All standard items, air conditioner, refrig/freezer, microwave, FM/AM radio, spare tire, indoor and outdoor speakers are working perfectly. It has traveled no more than 600 miles.
The reason for selling is that I will be retiring in December and my wife and I want to purchase a 24 footer and tour the south.

The asking price is 14,500.00
