A waffle maker is a great idea! I saw a recipe recently for vegetable fritters and potato fritters on one. I also saw something about low carb waffles,I believe that recipe used eggs and cream cheese.

A tip from Good Eats, make sure it is good n' heavy.  Scrambled eggs on a waffle maker, hmmm.

I just dug out an old waffle maker I used back in college.  I remember making all sorts of things in there including paninis, toasties and even scrambled eggs.  It seems perfect for the pod now too and I'm looking forward to be having some old favourites such as waffled french toast :)
