Since when do our posts require approval by an admin?  (Just asking'...)

(edit)-  In case you're wondering what I'm talking about, I posted a reply to the "Calling All Non-Podders" thread expressing my doubts about this wisdom of adding this section to our Forum.  It sits "Pending Approval."  I can read it, but apparently you can't.  It's just my opinion, but I guess now I need approval to express it.

Don't mean to offend...

I have given up any hope of having my response pass "Moderator Approval" and have deleted it under the topic above.  Have any of you encountered this message when posting:

You are posting in a moderated forum.

Your post will first need to be approved by a moderator before it will be viewable to others on the forum.

I'm disheartened.

It's most likely a mistake or will be explained in time. I wouldn't be disheartened but in answer to your question never heard of waiting for a post to be approved.Perhaps it was mistaken for spam or advertising I don't know.

That makes 4 of us and I'm an admin.  I've been very busy the last 2 weeks with our kids in a play and my wife and I were running the sound and light boards, so sorry but I didn't see the post in question.  None of the sub-forums here require approval so I don't know why you saw that.  Only new members that haven't had their account approved yet.

As for the new section - I was on the fence for a while myself after several requests, but we have enough ex-podders around here now I figured it couldn't hurt.

Ok, I took a look at the settings for the two non-podder sub-forums.  Looks like for one of the two I accidentally set it up to require approval for new posts.  All fixed, sorry about that.

I like the idea of a Non-Podder Sub-Forums.  This site was created originally for R-pod Owners by R-pod Owners and following the trail we have meet and talked to a lot of great people.  Some of us for different reasons have sold or upgraded our campers.  I know I have.  Techntrek explained what happened but any time you see an issue please reach out and PM any of the Admins (or all of them) and we will get back to you.  I'm not as active right now due to working crazy hours but hope to wind down one day.

I was one of those podders-to-be, but was never able to find a reasonably priced unit (new or used) near me.
I lurked on this forum for a long time and learned lots of valuable tips and tricks; Still do.
So although I went with another brand, it is essentially the same build quality, size, and equipment with the same quirks and issues.

I posted on "calling all non-podders" right after it was started; and after three weeks of "pending approval", I, too, deleted my message. Glad to hear that I wasn't just rejected. My reason for liking this section is that we now have another camper (also of like size to the Pod but with a few things we really had to have), and our son purchased our Rpod from us, so it's still in the family. We are still very interested in Rpods and get very excited when we see them on the road. It's amazing how many we see now compared to in 2012 when we purchased ours.

As strange as it is I have just purchased another R-pod 171 used today.  The price was way too good to pass it up.  Good thing my wife is VERY Understanding of me.  (I have 4 campers now)
