Mornin, the FR website shows a CCC of 1172#'s for the new 180. I ran across some pics of a new unit, it is an HRE model, and it's yellow tag showed a CCC of 1014. 158#'s difference. Is this pretty normal?  That's some serious cargo weight to leave behind.

Thanks

Shawn

Howdy from San Antonio and congratulations on your new 180!

Yes, I think the weight on the stickers fluctuate some based on what exactly in on the POD when they weigh it. 158 lbs kinda strikes be as unusual in the sense that it's about the wight of an average sized human.

I don't push the weights, I try to keep things as light as possible so I don't even come close to the max.

Yes, it depends on the options that were installed by the factory.  If the dealer orders a pod w/o A/C then the sticker will be about 120 pounds lighter even if the dealer then installs an A/C before selling it to you.  Then there are things like the battery and propane (not the tank) that the dealers always install post-factory.

Thanks for the responses, and yes, a half a ton is a lot. However, just wondering if its usual to miss 150#'s.

It's usual for them to be different, yes.

The catalogue weights and measures are "general". The sticker on the pod is from that pod getting weighed at the end of the production line.

from the "fine print":

**Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.
