Hello,
I have a 2015 Silverado and based on another post on this forum, I went out and tested the pins on my 7 pin connector. The + & - have a constant 12v even with the truck turned off. So, I assume that means that when we reach our destination I need to disconnect the trailer to isolate the TV battery, correct? Thanks

Yes Sir, if it is not switched, but always a good idea to disconnect when camped, but not necessary for short stops for quick shopping or a quick lunch.

Only things I can add is, if you are camping with hookups then don't worry about it. The converter will just top off the TV battery going the other direction.
