Something else we won't miss when we had our pop-up was tear down during a rain, all that water would run down the canvas onto the mattress. No matter how fast you would put the slides in (where the beds are) they would always get wet. You would pray for a dry day where ever you would end up so that you could put the mattresses out and dry in the sun.

That does not sound like fun at all. Not owning a pop - up I never had that experience. And wet foam pads take for ever to dry out and can get a little smelly too.

It looks like you have a meter mounted on the right side portion of the box???? |
That is the system monitor for our surge protector. The weird control box to the left is our controller for the underbody lights.. ;)

Yes, either in separate boxes or a single |
Beware. Most dual GC2 boxes place the batteries with their long sides together. Those won't fit. I looked into the dual Century Plastics box and two individual boxes was about $50 cheaper, so that's the route I'm taking. I hope you luck out and find battery boxes as B+B; none of the local stores had any in stock, so I'm waiting for them to come in.
BTW, I'm going with two of the Duracell 6V 230Ah batteries (SLIGC115).

Not sure how the 2 separates can be "$50 cheaper" then the century plastics.. it's $52, and shipping was free from Amazon.

I checked out the GC2s at Costco today: they're Interstate batteries and they have very little info on their label. Just the Reserve Capacity of 107min. How would I know if that is the rating for 25amps or 75amps?
Also, if there doesn't seem to be a way to add water, does that mean it is maintenance-free?

I've searched Amazon and cannot find it. How long ago did you buy yours and can you post a link? I did actually find one for $64 shipped on eBay, so it's "only" $43 cheaper.
