In another thread I discussed a problem with leakage around ac.Since I was leaving on a trip the next day I caulked around the outside of ac on roof which stopped the leak in the bedroom. I suspected the ac unit needed to be tightened down. There are 4 mounting bolts that hold the ac to the roof. They are under the inside ac cover. This is process to remove that cover.

Cover is held on by 8 2x2 head screws as they are called. There is a bit that you can get at any hardware store. This bit works in a battery drill/ driver. First locate all locations of screws. There is one screw on front & back of cover in vent openings. Then there are 3 screws on each side. There are 2 screws in the holes for the filters on each side. There is one each under the side vents. These vent covers will need to be removed. Using a knife blade gently pry one end as you pull down. Remove all screws but do not try removing the cover yet. The filters are still holding the cover on. Remove filters and cover comes off. All of the ac mounting bolts were loose. Tightened with 3/8 socket using a short extension. Reverse process to remount ac cover. I can't post pictures to this forum from this tablet.

Just have to be careful about tightening the mounting bolts.  Compress the seal too much and you'll need to replace it.
