I would love to have more info on this campground. I have mountain biked in MOAB 2 times before (2008 and 2009).

I know it's at a higher elevation up in or near Hazard County. The passenger van trip up there to start our bike rides was a bit thrilling. Narrow roads with  steep cliff drop offs!!

Did you have to ake reservations with the BLM or is it a privately run campground? What did it cost? Was it a good time of year for visiting (heat, bugs??).. I think it has pit toilets and no showers but I can't remember from the last time I tried researching it. Any dump station for the Pod?

Is this the campground: http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/mantilasal/recreation/camping-cabins/recarea/?recid=73218&actid=29

Was it crowded?  Did you make reservations?  Thanks for the tip!

Beautiful!  We're heading to the Southwest national parks in September.  Will definitely look this up.  Thanks!

Warner Lake Campground, Manti La Sal National Forest. Enjoyed a four day three night stay in this campground east of Moab, Utah at an elevation of 9200 feet above sea level. If you are ever in the area consider this as a must stay campground. An hour out of Moab and Arches National Park.
