Just came back from a 4-day camping adventure where the daytime temperatures got up to 96 degrees F. With the refrigerator running on propane and temperature setting at 5 bars (coolest), the temperature inside got up to 41 degrees. Is it normal for the temps to get that high? That is just above the safe range for refrigeration, though I didn't notice any problem with food going bad. It seems like I read somewhere that the Dometic refrigerator can cool down to 55 degrees below ambient temperature. If so that is what I observed. Any suggestions or comments?

For ambient temps that high, extra cooling fans, or opening the fridge outside panels can help considerably. Ours has stayed below 40F inside at outside temps close too 100F. We added a 200mm fan blowing out of the compartment, I turn it on for really hot days.

At 41 F, everything will still be fine.  The only two things that might go bad slightly faster at that temp would be anything with eggs that have already been cracked open or milk.

Was it 96 F inside your Pod?

Yes, that was the temperature inside the Rpod. I had the roof vent fan on high as well as a Fantastic "Endless Breeze" box fan bringing in outside air. I don't know what the outside temperature was.
