J.,

Howdy neighbor! One can only assume the previous owner gave you a thorough walkthrough? Rumor has it...he wrote the book.

Very nice work on your personalizations. We did a similar mod to the bed - converting it to a convertible daybed with end table in our 178. Great minds do think alike!

Enjoy!

Hey Jon, looks good!  A bit odd looking at mods like I've done 100 times before, but this time knowing that was our pod.  The bed mod definitely looks versatile, and the LED mod is one of the first things we did with our Salem - great for boondocking.

The only reason I didn't put a shelf above the exit window, I was worried it would be in the way if we really had to get out that way fast.  Maybe you can figure out a break-away system, something to consider.  I'm part of the Occupant Emergency crew at work so I'm a bit anal about fire/hazard safety.  Cool

thanks all - Family is ready to take it to Assateague Island - for the Memorial Day long weekend to actually use it. Got all the Mod ideas from you all here on the forum - thanks for the ideas. No worries the shelf on the fire exit side are only velcro onto the L brackets

One week in and I already did my first two mods. A single hole faucet for $88 at the Depot. Also a cutting board from Walmart covers the stove or the sink. The single faucet really added room under the sink as the extra piping that came with the faucet let me tuck all the rest up and out of the way.
