We've made the tough decision to sell our 2014 176t. Trouble is, there are so few available nationwide right now, I have no idea how to price it. NADA isn't entirely helpful either.

It's loaded, including extras such as a Zamp solar panel, Rdome, custom marine wood tabletop, hitch mounted storage rack, etc.

It's been used six times over three seasons and hasn't seen more than 1,500 road miles total. There is ONE comparable listed thru RVTrader, @ $16,000. Nada gives a ballpark of $16,300, without taking into consideration the above-mentioned upgrades.

Could this be worth $17,000? $17,500? That seems awfully high, but there just isn't enough data to convince me that a number that begins with a 17 isn't a good place to start.

Any input would be appreciated.

Not unlike autos, the addition of custom rim and tires, upgraded stereos, etc., are nice selling points but don't add to the value.
I would start at the actual retail value and determine from there what you believe will work (or sell the items separately). Might make for a quicker sale.

You could check out what Couch's trailer sales is getting for his new and used r-pods. That will give you a rough idea what people can get rpods for and you can figure from there.
I agree with John, the add ons don't really increase the price

I won't post Couch's exact price in case that's a no-no, but it's less than the NADA value you have above.

I've been watching 176t's for a while.  Just say a 2014 go for $9800 (dropped from $11k) on CL.  I probably should have made arrangements to buy it at that price, but we aren't quite ready.

You have a low-availability model, it'll be worth whatever someone wants to pay for it, ultimately.  For me, unless I can save a good chunk of change I would just go with a new one w/ warranty most likely.

I think knowledgeable people looking for used trailers do care about add-ons and modifications. If someone took the time (and money) to improve their trailer - I mean professional-looking mods - they more than likely took good care of it, too. I'd at least add on a few extra $s for my efforts. On the other hand, if you're talking trade-in, dealers could care less. We had our brand new 177HRE for a year, and the dealer offered us a trade-in of $6,500 less than we paid for it.
