It's not about hot water supply. It's about holding tank capacity. When on FHU's, we have taken back to back longish showers and not run out of hot water. We ran the WH on elec. and gas at the same time for faster recovery.

We looked at 180 and 179 bathroom options. Liked the bigger bathroom option of the 180 but decided we will probably spend more time in the kitchen than the bathroom, so we opted for the 179. As yet we have not taken it out on the road yet so can't report on the wisdom of the decision.
