Hello. Does anyone know if there are issues with a new R-Pod warrantee if solar is mounted on the roof? If holes are drilled for screws or to run the wiring, does it void the warrantee? Thanks in advance for any information!

If you had any type of water intrusion, or issue on the roof or anything related to that addition it would void the warranty.

So yes, when you drill holes, cut holes, or add/change things that are not factory you will void the warranty on those parts.  The warranty covering say the shower leaking or a window falling out wouldn't be an issue but anything that could be related to that mod would be void.

We purchased a Go Power solar flexible panel and it is attached with "3M" tape I'm told.  No holes.  The wires were run down the former TV antenna hole.  (We don't have a television and the antenna always rattled anyway...)

Good idea. I did see somewhere else, that panels are mounted with 3m VHB tape. Then if you are able to run the cables through a vent pipe or the tv antenna, as you mentioned, no new holes would be needed in the roof. Too bad there isn't a plug on the roof for solar like on the side.
