I would really like to see a small R-POD-ish style Toy Hauler maybe about 20-24 feet in length, with a dry bath and a 60 gallon fresh, 30 gallon gray, and a smaller 15-20 gallon black (who uses the 30 gallon black to capacity!!??) . Outside shower with vinyl shower stall, and room for 2 small motorcycles or 4 bicycles.
Aluminum frame, aerodynamic rounded edges, a quieter and smaller A/C system (8000 BTU), and 4000-5000 GVWR. I think a 1800 payload is plenty. Tongue weight under 600 pounds so it can pulled by mid-size SUV's with class 3 hitches.
I have seen over that last couple years that the Pods are indeed growing up, with more room, dry baths, more storage.
I have been hunting for my next camper, but the small toy hauler I envision does not exist "yet". All the current small ones have very small holding tanks, and usually tip out beds (ugh, no thanks) to make room for toys.
ATC, Livin Lite, and even Forest River Wolf Pup have been some that I have viewed but they are not what I really need for my upcoming epic trips (4 weeks on the road at a time). I love the amenities and styling of the LANCE 2212, but it is $$$$$ and has a high GVWR, a bit too large. I inquired about a custom "1812 or 2012" with a similar layout, but they don't do that.
