I'd like to pick the great minds of our forum. We're looking for a trailer that's a bit larger than the r-pod.
1. Full bath
2. More storage
3. Access to normal size bed on both sides
4. Decent size eating area

It doesn't have to have a couch or bunk beds or sleep more than the two of us (and the dog on the floor). A table that converts to a bed for the grandchildren would be okay.  Giant size televisions and outdoor kitchens aren't necessary either.

We're not looking for a 32' 7,500lb camper, just something a bit larger than our 177. Could be single axle or small double axle. We do a lot of dry camping in state parks and don't want anything enormous.

What products on the market do you all know about that fit these requirements?

Every manufacturer has a couple floorplans that fit that rough description. Our recent research has been about quality, as well as a bit more room. We want to go semi full time soon, but she needs a bit of work space.

We have decided to go Lance. For our needs, the 2285 fills the bill perfectly. 1 fewer large dogs and the 1985 would be our choice, and punches all the spots on your ticket.

Looks like a good match. Gives us something to start looking at.
Thanks for the input.

There are many options. Not recommending anything. I was considering Travel Lite Idea i18 2.0 when I bought my Rpod.  The Travel Lite was sitting next to it on the lot.

Also, I like Artic Fox 25w. Thinking we'll eventually get something about 25 feet long. My problem is that I will eventually need to upgrade my old truck. Not ready to do that yet.

The Lance looks pretty nice furpod. You're one step ahead of us.

It's interesting to go through and see where different manufacturers put their money and where they leave it out.

Any Vibe owners out there with comments?

Check out the Camplites by Livinlite, especially if you can find a pre-2015 model. They are all aluminum, including the frame, so no rot or rust. No plywood floor or framing to rot out. The newer ones have some wood cabinet trim, but it's all visible and non structural. Look at the 16 and 21 ft models for something somewhat bigger than a Pod. We did and love it.

I would vote for something with a tandem axle. My 19' Coleman is so equipped and, frankly, I don't know that I could GET the thing to sway, while going down the road. The down side is when it comes time to replace the (4) tires.

The Lance and Camplites are both nice and I'm envious. If only I were rich...like SOME of our forum members!

Have done some research on this. I like the quality of Northwood (Nash, Arctic Fox) and related company Outdoors RV (Black Rock, Creekside). Looked at Lance 1995 too but so much money! Know someone with a Rockwood Mini Lite 2104S for sale. Not the same quality as others mentioned but it could do the job.
