Hey all, thinking of buying a Pahaque awning, I like it for my uses better than the dome, any reviews of this awning would be helpful as I couldn't find any thanks

Denver Poddie,
We bought one of these this past fall.  RV Supply was having a big sale.  Got it after the pod was put away for the winter, so we won't know until spring how it works.  Agreed, I liked the setup better than the rdome.  Expecting 15+ inches of snow with the current storm on the way.  It'll be a while before we can test this out, but I think it'll be great.

If all you want is an awning.. it will work fine. The sides don't roll up like the dome, nor does it have screen netting, nor can it be closed up completely, all of which the dome does. It is also, IMHO, about 99% of the work of putting up the dome anyways.

+1 the dome gives you an option of adding an extra room. We have used the dome for grand children that visit while camping.
We will sometime take the table and put that in the dome to open up the inside a bit.

I have the dome. My intent is to pretty much use the dome for everything but sleeping. I love the option of wide open cover by day and bug free evenings. Of course the added option of rolling down the side shades in rainy weather and still be able to use that space is nice too. I am not downing the pahaque at all, that might be the greatest thing for you. I just like to think of the dome as a second trailer of wide open space, or closed in cozy space.

I am a non-fan of the R Dome - too much set up for me. I have the PahaQue Visor which meets my needs for an awning. Easy to set up and take down with weather changes and much simpler to haul. To each his own.

I have an awning and the side tent from them, plus a cover for me slide wall. I would never camp without them, now.
Lifesavers. Plus all their stuff is made in the US.

No, but their side tent does seal up and it's far superior to the r-dome.
