does anyone have experience using a refill adapter to refill 1 pound propane bottles off of a 20 pound tank?  hogone

Yep, always do it outside, be careful of high pressure and check local laws. Many sites on Interweb for details.

Fill upside down and put 1 lb bottle in freezer before filling. Adapters have pressure sensor, it works.
