If you've ever been a bit annoyed by the stiffness of the shower hoses in your Pod, including the one that comes with the Oxygenics shower heads, I found a replacement that is fantastic. It's manufactured by AquaSource and is sold by Lowe's.

This hose is exceptionally flexible. It hangs completely limp when the head is in the holder, which means the head stays pointed where you aim it, and twists around with ease when out of the holder. I originally bought this hose when the one on our home shower broke. Out of curiosity, I took it out to our 179 first to see if it would work and it stayed out there; I bought a second one for home.

I've really appreciated it the last couple of days when I've had to use the Pod shower while waiting for our home water heater to get replaced.

Extremely. Just unscrew both ends of the old one and screw in both ends of the new one. The threads are the same. It comes with plastic caps on the fittings that you take off before the install. The head end has an o-ring around it to provide friction while in the holder. I didn't use any tools, just got the connections as tight as I could by hand.

I took a look at the reviews and it seems to have a bunch of bad reviews. Most involved leaking after owning a few months.Unhappy

It has a lifetime warranty, so those people should have been able to get a replacement. I don't have enough experience with them to know their longevity, but it's also unknown what sort of abuse they might have been put under by those reviewers.
